Much awaited poetry book of legendary punjabi poet Surjit Patar was released in the premises of PAU Vice Chanellor’s Office on 25th February, 2026. Many noted poets and popular literary and academic figures of ludhiana and beyond were present on the occassion. Patar’s wife Bhupinder Kaur Patar and Son Manraj Singh Patar described their mixed feelings for the occassion. Dignitaries like Sardara Singh Johal, Gurbhajan Gill, Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal Vice Chancellor PAU, Nirmal Jaura Diretor Student Welfare, PAU, Harbhajan Singh Namdhari, Dr. Charan Kanwal Singh Director, Ishmeet Singh Music Institure, Ludhiana also expressed their views about Dr. Patar and his latest book on the occassion.
